3 Challenges for the Next 30 Days with Your One Word
1. DO YOU KNOW MY WORD?
Ask around, “Do you know what my One Word is?” Who remembers your word? Who doesn’t? Any surprises?
2. FIND A NEW FACT
Google your word or look it up on Wikipedia or in a Bible concordance or dictionary. Find out something unique about your word this month. See if you get a new insight.
3. CHANGE DIRECTION
Schedule a few minutes on your calendar to pray or meditate about the direction you’re going with your word. Are you happy with the first half of the year? Do you need to make any tweaks for the second half?
This One Word linkup will remain open through Sunday night, July 31.
The next One Word linkup will begin Monday, August 22 (every One Word linkup in 2022 opens on the 22nd).

Change direction…
Now that is an interesting alternative!
It’s a direction I’ve had to confront head-on. The more I thought about “release,” the more I also had to think about what I should be holding on to! 🙂
Lisa, once again I thank you for your leadership and encouragement in this group! While I did not write about he questions posed in the email, I pondered them. #3 made me smile. God certainly has changed direction for me with my word resilience!
Learning about “resilience God’s way”. That is the place where God has taken me most often. He created me to be a survivor, and I rarely quit anything, but I think God wants me to see true resilience does not come from my own efforts, but through Him.
Because ultimately if resilience was based on personality type or a stronger effort on our part, it would be limited to only a select few and where would God be glorified?
I love your tactic of understanding your true resilience is from God, and using it God’s way. I’m having to do that with Release too. God has to help me pry my sticky little fingers off anything and everything it’s time to release. I need God’s Spirit in me to give me the strength to let go. Thanks for your consistent encouragement, Donna!
I see how ‘flow’ is causing me to reflect more on choices I make and how I look at my own journey. Thank you for your encouragement to stick to my word and also be open to change.
That’s great, Corinne! It’s amazing how God can use one little word all year to help navigate our journey.
I linked up a post I made this month. It’s interesting that you mentioned ‘change direction’. I’ve been giving a lot of thought to my word and it keeps popping up places, but the Lord seems to still be teaching me about my word from last year. they do go together, but I’ve never had this happen with my word before. I’ve realized that I still have a lot to learn!
