3 People Challenge
Pick three people to talk to about your word before next month’s linkup on September 22.
Whether in person or online or on the phone, etc., ask your three people a few questions, such as:
- How would you define my word?
- Do you use it in your own life?
- What suggestions could you make to help me practice my word?
Sparking a conversation with someone else about your word can give you a fresh glimpse of it. Use their answers to motivate you to move through your word in a slightly different way than you have so far.
Make your list now of three people and tag yourself in a note to follow through.
This One Word linkup will remain open through Wednesday night, August 31.
The next One Word linkup will begin Thursday, September 22 (every One Word linkup in 2022 opens on the 22nd).

I agree that this community is a gift! I’m grateful for it. Thanks for your active participation in it, Michele. You could have taken a pass with REST. 🙂 But even with REST, I know you’re actively pursuing God’s guidance.
I haven’t gotten on board the “one-word” train but I do see the value. I do often have a verse that I’m focused on and that usually has to do with a single issue that I’m working on in my life.
I think that’s wonderful, Donna. Everyone has to do what the Spirit leads them to do. Some years one word works well for me; others years it doesn’t.
I haven’t thought of 3 people yet, but I’ll try to soon. I’m so glad my oneword is hope. I have seen it so much this year and it’s been a great reminder of the sure hope we have in Christ, especially with all the negativity in our world. I agree with Michele that this community is a gift. Blessings to you, Lisa! xo
I’ve thought of my three people but I haven’t talked to them yet about my word. I’ll do it soon. You chose so well with Hope. It definitely feels in short supply at times. 🙁 Thank you for participating with our group, Gayl!
