God’s good china–it’s you
You’re encouraged often to be pure. To abstain from this. To avoid that. You know what not to do. And rightly so.
But why? What’s the point of maintaining purity?
Is it only about what you don’t do? What about what you should do? And what happens when you’re already impure?
We’re talking today at Do Not Depart about setting a table of grace with God’s good china. Will you join me there?
- I need your worship
- Hold space open for God
Hi neighbor. I may be cracked, but I am still good china to the Lord. Thanks for the reminder.
Exactly! 🙂 Glad he doesn’t toss us out when we get chipped.
From another cracked china, great post Lisa.
We’d make quite a site all gathered together in a china cabinet, wouldn’t we? 🙂 I’m imagining it now.
I love the imagery of this! Thanks so much for the reminder!
Thanks, Heather. I hope the imagery sticks with me too whenever I see my (mainly unused and hand-me-down) china. Maybe I need to get it out for supper tonight…
