Presidents’ Day Hope
In honor of Presidents’ Day, below are three quotes on remaining hopeful. One from a distant President, one from a Republican President, and one from a Democrat President.
May we each maintain hope for our country to be a place of hope for all who come here.
“Peace does not appear so distant as it did. I hope it will come soon, and come to stay; and so come as to be worth the keeping in all future time.”
– Abraham Lincoln

“The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don’t wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope.”

Good quotes, but our only real peace is John 14:27, it has really been on my heart.
Giving thanks for our country and the way we have been blessed as a nation under God. Also thankful for the Presidents that have given their service to us. You have selected some nice quotes.
Thank you for sharing these quotes. Even though I am frustrated with the current state of things, I still have hope for our country’s future!
Love those quotes about hope. We’re all more alike than we are different.
