I have learned so much by returning to my One Word every month for assessment and examination. Who knew that REST and RELEASE could
be so demanding?
It’s amazing that this year of INTENTIONAL pursuit of drawing near to God through asking, seeking, and knocking would go by so quickly, Lisa!
I didn’t focus on a word. I often focus on a passage of Scripture, but this year it was more on a particular purpose. I do always enjoy reading posts from all of you ladies who did. Blessings as you finish up your year.
My one word this year is faithful. When I began to think about this word back in January it was to remind myself to be faithful to the things in my life I knew were good……..God, family, church, work, friends, groups, health, growth. etc. and do it well! As the year progressed, though, I started seeing all the ways God was so faithful to me! He was faithful in so many big ways, but also in just little things I began to notice and appreciate in my everyday world.
I love reading comments by others about their One Word! I think I’ll be continuing with the same One Word of Intentional for next year. I’ve learned to intentionally take the pressure off myself. Relationships can trump my intentional to-do list, I learned, and that is okay, as family and friends are high up on my Core Values list! So, I’ve been intentional about following my Core Values (that I really hadn’t set out to do…).
I completed the survey, Lisa. Your link up and the group have kept me very focused on my Word this year. Thank you for all your efforts! ♥
