I think this verse means that God will not always strive with man. If His spirit is drawing you and you repeatedly ignore it, He may withdraw His spirit. Also, there are times in our lives when we are tender toward the Lord. If you don’t take advantage of that time, then later on you may be drawn into your worldly life so much that you ignore Him. Why take a chance? Let’s get closer to Him now!
Good commentary, Jerralea. Thanks for helping explain this, because in some ways it can be confusing otherwise.
You sum it up well: “Why take a chance? Let’s get closer to Him now!” Yes!
Oh yeah. I’m feeling pretty smart today… Got an easy one!
I was hoping you’d like this one better than last week’s. ha. I sure do. 🙂 I’ve practically got it already (on the outside anyway–I’m excited to see how the Lord will continue using it on the inside!).
Wow! This make it like really easy. Thanks a lot for sharing Lisa! Have a super blessed day!

Practicing with the first letters of each word can be a big help. Some people like it; some don’t. But this verse is pretty easy to learn anyway. You have a blessed day, too!
