Last Chance to Sign Up for the Matthew 6:25-34 Memory Challenge
—Grace & Truth Linkup
Matthew 6 is the middle chapter of the three chapters commonly known as the Sermon on the Mount. Here Jesus talked about tending to our actions, thoughts, and hearts in how we love God and love others.
This summer a group of us will be memorizing 10 of these verses over 10 weeks.
Beginning June 5, we’ll focus on one verse a week from Matthew 6:25-34.
Here are the verses we’ll be learning.
If you’d like to join us in committing these words to your own heart and mind, sign up today to get resources for this easy memory challenge.
We’d love to have you join us!

Donna entered May with a heavy heart of grief. In this insightful post she shares about the beauty of dancing with a limp, bringing hope to our own broken hearts.
“From a place of love, dancing with a limp becomes the conduit through which I not only love others well, but find Hope within my own brokenness, restoring Joy in the midst of suffering.”

- Fill in the Blank: “Life Is More Than ___ to Me”
Lisa! Thank you for this summer memorization opportunity. We actually just finished a series at church on the gospel of Matthew, and after a series on Hope (yay! My 2023 One Word!) over the summer, we are going back to Matthew for a series on the beatitudes.
Memorizing these verses over the summer will be a great way to meditate and prepare! Love your memory challenges!
And thank you so much for featuring my post today, it truly is fast becoming one of my favorites!
Wow, this is perfect timing for you, Donna! I’m glad to know you’ll be memorizing and meditating on these words with me.
Thank you for sharing your post with us. I’ve read it several times myself!
At one point, I had all three chapters of the SOTM memorized and tucked safely into my brain, but I haven’t faithfully reviewed it, so this will be a push for me to try to regain lost ground!
I totally understand this, Michele! I’ve reviewed Matthew 6 somewhat through the years and for the most part, it’s still there. But I really want to make a concerted effort again to solidify these last 10 verses. They mean a lot to me. Glad we’re in this together. 🙂
What a great idea Lisa! I remember many, many years ago before going to Bible College I had memorised the whole of Psalm 139…it would be a push now though! Lol…
Blessings, Jennifer
That’s such a beautiful psalm to memorize though! 🙂
I’m starting a week into this but I am sure I can catch up. Now if only my very mature brain will retain!
Thanks for a lovely challenge.
