You Are God’s Masterpiece {Enneagram Series #2}
True Identity in Christ
“What Is the Enneagram? It exposes nine ways we lie to ourselves about who we think we are, nine ways we can come clean about those illusions, and nine ways we can find our way back to God.”
– Christopher Heuertz, The Sacred Enneagram
When you find a tool that helps you solidify your true identity in Christ, use it. But don’t overvalue the tool; worship the One it leads you to.

I look forward to this series, Lisa!
This was short, but so powerful! “Use the tool, but worship the One it leads us, to.” Love that!
Great advice. Worship the Provider, not His provision.
I heard a cooled-out Buddhist cowboy
say that with which I am in tune:
“The finger points the lunar way,
but the finger’s not the moon.”
The road is not the destination,
the tool is not the work complete;
without delay or hesitation
onward we must find our feet.
The primrose path may hold its beauty
and it asks, “Please stay awhile!”
but our destiny and duty
is not to be beguiled
by the instrument, though unique,
but to carry on to Whom we seek.
Yes, tools are valuable, Lisa, but we should ever be thankful to our Father who has provided them to us.
Blessings!
Ooh I love this quote! “But don’t overvalue the tool; worship the One it leads you to.”
This applies to all of life too!
