Don’t look directly at the sun
As kids, ours mamas told us, “Never look directly at the sun! You’ll go blind!”
And they were right, of course. If we kill our retina cells, they don’t come back. So we avoid long glares at the sun.
But what about the Son? Do we avoid looking directly at him, too?
Unfortunately, instead of focusing on Jesus, we often focus instead on our church or the culture or our ministries.
But can that lead to blind spots, too?
