31 Quotes of Grace {coming October 1}
I never tire of hearing about or experiencing God’s grace.
Beginning Wednesday, October 1, I’ll be sharing short quotes on grace from my favorite books for 31 days.
31 Days, hosted by Myquillyn Smith at The Nester, is a yearly challenge for writers to share about one topic every day in October.
It’s also an opportunity for readers to daily explore a topic they enjoy or want to learn more about.
Here are the nine categories for 2014:
The link-up will begin October 1 at Write31Days.com. Start thinking now about your topic!

What would you choose for a 31-day series? Share in the comments.
- “Daring Greatly” by Brené Brown – Book review
- Get your brave on
I would probably do simplicity and organizing or food, health and wellness. 🙂
You would be awesome in both those categories, Dianna! I see those threads weaved in your blog often.
Short and sweet works well for 31 Days! Since I won’t be doing it this year, I’ll have plenty of time and energy to savor your wisdom here, friend!
;-}
Thanks, Linda. I’m trying to get a little head start on pulling some posts together so I won’t be in a day-to-day scramble come October. 🙂 It’s all about keeping it simple.
Inspiration and Faith – maybe with a side order of family and home woven in:) I can’t do 31 days right now – but I am so excited for those who can!!! Can’t wait to read your days, Lisa!
Thanks for your encouragement! I’ll have to return to it about day 12 or so when I’m questioning why I signed up again. ha. I do love connecting with other bloggers through this challenge; I always end up adding a few new blogs to read and learning a lot of new stuff throughout the month.
If health permits, I’ll write on marriage, in keeping with my bog’s theme.
That’ll be awesome, Andrew, if you’re up for it. I already subscribe to your blog so I’ll be sure to catch all your posts.
Thanks for the reminder! Looking forward to your quotes!
Last year was the first time I participated, with 31 Days of Missionary Stories, and I enjoyed it so much. I’m thinking of doing 31 Days of Christian Biography this year. For 9 years I did a newsletter at a former church with a section in it of “those who have gone before.” Biographies have been such a big help in my own Christian life. Since I have all that material to pull from, I’ll just need to edit and tweak some of them for this series.
Christian Biography is a great category for you, Barbara! (And even better that you already have some material to pull from.) I’ll look forward to reading the things you’ll share. You’re very knowledgeable.
Ok, I think you nudged me into trying this again. I am going to do “31 Days to Hold Fast in Hard Times” to tie into my 2014 blog theme of “Hold Fast.”
Thanks for linking up at Thought-Provoking Thursday this week! xo
Ooh, I love that topic, Lyli! I’m sure it will bless many, including me.
Well, Lisa, you’re got me fired up, and I’ve reserved a new blog site, dailygracequote@wordpress.com, to be dedicated to this concept.
I’m going to try to extend it past October. We can all use a little grace in the morning.
Including me.
Awesome, Andrew! That’s exciting news. Yes, we definitely all need a little grace in the morning (and afternoon and evening….). I’ll look forward to it.
I won’t be doing the 31 days since we are just plain traveling too much next month BUT am really looking forward to being inspired by your series. Great topic!
Thanks, Jean. It’s already been fun to look back through so many different books about grace. The hard part will be narrowing down what to share. 🙂
Enjoy your travels!
