I admit that anxiety has been getting the best of me the past few days so I need to reminder myself to not let it mark me. When I get quiet, I can better hear God. Yes, he will provide and protect; he is our provision. Thanks, Floyd.

Good one. The anxiety that marks the lost shouldn't us, but we still have to strive toward the One who will provide. And protect. He causes or allows all things. We need to revere Him first... not running out of His provision.

At Publix tonight there was not a single sheet of toilet paper either. It's so crazy. Also no bags of potatoes, very little bread, no chicken, etc. Hopefully after this weekend the mad panic will be over and we can flatten out this curve as well. All public schools in Alabama just got the word they'll be out for 2 1/2 weeks starting next Wednesday.

I'm glad to feature your post! You have lots of good ones to choose from.

I hadn't thought about that the online orders, but I guess more people will want to do that than normal. Things are changing so quickly. We went shopping tonight for a few items and there was no beef, no chicken, and of course no toilet paper. But thankfully I already had my package of that. lol.

It will give us more opportunities to put our trust in God.

Our grocery store was completely out of toilet paper when Bill and I did our shopping this week. Not one square of TP remained on the shelf! I guess we will have to go back. Sigh! Thank you for featuring my post this week.

I just went to do an online order at WalMart--usually I order in the morning and pick it up in the afternoon. But they said no time slots were available until Sunday. :-0 I'm guessing more people are using that service so as to spend less time in crowds. I'm going to venture out after lunch and see what's left.

The sad thing about the run on supplies is that I think that's coming more from panic than anything else directly connected to the virus. But I am hoping that with all the measures being taken, the virus will have less of an impact that it otherwise would have.

In reply to <a href="https://lisanotes.com/running-low-grocery-store-linkup/#comment-298340">Pam Ecrement</a>.

That is beautiful advice, Pam. I was just talking yesterday with my daughter about how we have been spoiled in our generation. We don't know what it's like to experience Spanish Flu or the Black Plague or even simple conditions that caused mass deaths in years past. I'm thankful to be in this age, even though our bodies are still frail. Yes, we can rest in God. Thank you, friend!

Well said, Lisa, and so true! I don't think any of us alive have lived through anything quite like this, but those in recent generations before us certainly have as I wrote in my post "How Did They Do It?" on Wednesday. It's a time to use our restricted lives to settle in to our favorite chairs and dig more deeply into the Word and listen more carefully and longer while praying and use all that to allow the roots of our faith to be nourished and grow deeper.

For whatever comes, the coronavirus did not catch the Lord off guard and though He didn't send it, He can use it for good in each of our lives and for us all if we allow Him to do so.

Be safe and rest in Him.
