You’re a woman after my own heart, Jennifer. 🙂 I sometimes hang on to too many things, though, so I have to remember that not everything can be reused again. lol. I agree with you that God wants us to be wise stewards of the things he gives us!

Thank YOU for writing the post, Calvonia! Happy to share it. I definitely needed your reminder to hang on to the good things that God has shown me this past year and treasure those gifts.

I actually did release a few of my bags, Lynn. But not many. lol. How beautiful that you’re leaving your tree up throughout 2021 as a reminder of the light of Jesus. We took our tree down so I could put my jigsaw puzzle table back in that spot again. Puzzles have become my place of relaxation and downtime since the pandemic began. (Puzzles are a source of boredom and frustration for Jeff, though, so I work on them alone. ha)

My daughter is keeping her tree up longer than normal this year too to enjoy the lights. I didn’t get out all my decorations this year to begin with, so it didn’t take me as long to put them away. I do miss turning the tree lights on each morning now.

Bonus time…those are the best days. I have everything put up now except for our Christmas cards. I like to keep them out until Jeff gets to look through them. I eagerly get the mail every day during December to see if we got any new cards, but he doesn’t always share that daily enthusiasm so they pile up for him. 😉

I love that you’re keeping the lessons of letting go, Lynn. That’s perfect for me to hear as I start my year of Release!
