Hi! I’m new here. I found you on the Happy Now linkup. I went back and looked at your picture, and I don’t think I’m new here. lol I think I already follow you on Twitter. Well, I guess I should say I haven’t been here in a while. Love what you write here. I feel like society embraces so many causes that I don’t get behind, but racism is a cause I have seen. I have seen it my whole life. It’s so extremely real. And the place I saw it MOST was my college campus 1999-2002, University of Alabama. There were some there trying to fix it, and that’s the most important thing, to be one of the people trying to fix it.

This sounds fascinating. I’m still reading those books and pushing out my reviews, it’s so important to keep doing that. I’m glad the publishing world is still publishing books by Black authors too for the time being; I’m gathering all I can and sharing as that’s one of the main things I can do in the circles I’m in.

In reply to Michele Morin. I need to look up her book. Thanks for sharing, Michele. Apathy can be one of those silent killers, often invisible to ourselves. It breeds all kinds of other problems too. I need to be shaken up occasionally to see what's right in front of me.
