“Abide with me, fast falls the eventide
The darkness deepens Lord, with me abide
When other helpers fail and comforts flee
Help of the helpless, oh, abide with me”
The post I’m linking up doesn’t speak of abide until near the end, but I offer it as a way to face threats like what I wrote about in the first part of the post.
