In reply to tanya marlow. Nancy Guthrie's book sounds like it'd be a great follow-up to Being Mortal. Thanks for sharing about it. I'm loving the message in Being Mortal, but it is a little somber at times so I can't read it in too big a dose. It brings back a lot of memories when my own parents died in 2010.

In reply to floyd. Jeff likes the snow for awhile, but then he's ready for it to go away. I'm just thankful that we have boy neighbors that he can play outside with when it snows. I'm pretty boring in the snow. I only want to take photos. :)

In reply to Barbara H.. The before and after pics were so fun to do. Lots of laughing involved. :) Yes, this weather was definitely crazy this week! I came to Auburn yesterday in the 70s, and even down this far south, it's going to be in the 20s tonight. And because of the ice between here and home, I'm staying an extra night. I'm so ready for spring too!

Coming to you via Leigh Kramer. I love those before and after photos! And that ‘Being Mortal’ book looks really interesting. I recently read a good book on dying well – ‘O love that will not let me go’ by Nancy Guthrie (lots of extracts from different preachers through the ages on ageing, death and dying well – and it struck me that we have so few books on this topic, and yet it’s so important. Great to meet you!

Love the before and after pics!

I had hoped we were done with snow, but we’re due for more tomorrow – and it has been in the 60s today! Hard to believe it will change so drastically overnight.

What am I looking forward to in March? My husband’s birthday later this week and the first day of SPRING! 🙂
