You’re exactly right–none of us should think we’re beyond falling into homelessness or any number of things. We never know what the future holds, despite our well-laid plans. God sometimes has other designs for our lives that we could never imagine. I’m glad you’ve never had to be on the streets in your homelessness. May the social housing people find the right place for you that you will enjoy and thrive in!

I’m with you, Pamela–it was much easier to memorize and retain verses when I was younger. But oh well. Hopefully we got the gist of it still with us even if we don’t have the exact words. šŸ™‚

I am now officially homeless, although i am still living in my house. This is so that the social housing people will house me before i end up on the street. I have been homeless 4 times in my life, but thankfully never on the street. However i once met a man who had made a life for himself living on the street and said, that although he got cold in winter he liked his life and didn’t want to have the restrictions of living in a house. I often think about him and wonder if he made it through yet another winter!

I struggle with it the older i get! I wish I would have taken more advantage of the ease in memorizing when I was young. I’m thankful for the Scripture I did memorize in my youth.

If you ride 13 miles, you’re still doing great, Bill. Good for you. Hopefully you’ll have as nice of weather as we’ve been having lately. An unusually cool spring in Alabama this year (which means we’re actually having a spring instead of going straight to summer!).
