Wow. This sounds like a wonderful book to read. I do not know any transgender people personally (That I know of!) But this has been something that so many people have had to hide that it wouldn’t surprise me to know that I may already know one.
However, I will say I agree that we ALL deserve to be treated equally. If we would love more rather than make judgements on things that don’t make up a person as a whole we’d find we live in a better world.

I’ve seen a ghost AND I know trans and nonbinary people! Fortunately there have been some great books on trans history and the trans lived experience in the UK, “Trans Britain” and “The Transgender Issue” being two good ones. They have greatly aided my understanding.

Another fascinating book selection, Lisa! I have about six former students who are transgender or non-binary, and I’m always looking for ways to love them better. I’m going to have to start going to the library again in order to afford being able to read all of your books!
