You are learning so much from your volunteer position, aren’t you? I think God truly called you to a place where you can minister, and then be ministered to as well. I’m sure your new friend was so grateful to have a listening ear, and you were there.

I have heard God through his wonderful grace. He is calling me to ‘surrender’ this year (yuck, not good at that), and I have to commit to it every day. If not for his grace, I’d be grabbing all my worries and holding on for frightened life. (Yuck, not good at all!) The Lord teaches us all what we need. It’s so great to see that you are sharing your lessons with us!
