Some things are long gone. And others stay the same. Actually, I find these events to often be awkward. I’d rather live in today.

I loved it that he still remembered that about you after a number of years since you’d last seen one another. So, when you showed him plate at the meal after the funeral, he was able to experience that you have “shifted” a bit in your eating habits…demonstrating growth in your life. Love it!
