All I can think of is the love-hate relationship I have had with my body for practically all of my life. Such wisdom here. I especially agree that an aging body deserves kindness! In one of my mindfulness trainings we were reminded to show gratitude for the miracle of our bodies, even sustaining us for one day!
Then I was reading in 1 Corithians 4 and the Lord gently pointed me to the truth that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, built on the foundation of Christ. I am Christ’s and Christ belongs to God the Father.
I certainly don’t look in the mirror with that attiude!
