I love watching movie adaptations but if I watch the movie adaption before reading the book, then I mostly always go and read the book, because movies are not just enough for me, I need more details.

I prefer to read the book before seeing the movie. This one I had had on my TBR list for a while. It is an important one I must read this year.

I’m definitely a book person, and this sounds like an important one. My husband and I have had several conversations lately (sparked by news articles) regarding how some people are sentenced to long prison terms for really small crimes, while others get a “slap on the wrist” for major crimes. This book might add useful insight to our conversations.

I saw trailers for this and remembered your review of the book. I generally prefer books because you get more depth. But I like movies, too, because they sum things up and because my family will watch them with me (most of them don’t read books). I’ll probably watch the movie of this first and then consider the book.
