Fascinating series, Lisa. At the health department I worked at for a long time we found we hired like minded people. Good in some ways but also narrowed our focus and imagination.

I’ve certainly felt community bias in my lifetime, Lisa. It’s never good to go along with the crowd just for the sake of acceptance. Let me be who I am, with my own thoughts and opinions, and let me be gentle with others who don’t understand.
