My son’s favorite verse is Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

This is a beautiful poem and perfect today. I find it so hard to stay in today. I’m a planner, especially lately with so much going on in the Morgan household.

I just saw Jeremiah 29:11 while out for yogurt last night. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

I’m sure it was no mistake the Lord meant for me to see this and now your post. I will stay in today and let Him take care of the tomorrows.

My favorite verse is Isaiah 8:13, “The Lord your God is the One you are regard as holy, He is the One you are to fear, He is the One you are to dread.”

At a glance that sounds scary, but in the context it was written it makes perfect sense. God’s chosen often fear or revere and show more respect to the things of this world than God Himself that controls all things in this world.
