Yes, I found the footprints so odd. I know I’ve taken footprint photos in the sand before and not had that happen! lol

Google told me that the footprints photo is purely an optical illusion. It reminds me of those photos where you can see either an old lady’s face or a young girl. ha.

The Tolstoy quote really resonated with me too. (Although to be fair, pet can appear to be empathetic to our pain at times too! lol)

I googled why the footprints looked like casts. And found it! It’s something to do with how our brains perceive the shadows, not the photo itself. So it’s all on us! ha.

True, the crazy way the footprints turned out makes it even more special to look at. I’m like you…I need to get out of my head way more often, so looking for things I could see and touch was a great way to do that. How exciting that you’re adding a Hope photo scrapbook to your fun!
