This has been a tough year for me, too, Jeanne, so I have benefited by reading your blog as you walk through extra struggles this year as well. I love how word CLING and my word RELEASE may appear to be opposites on the surface, but they have a common root of trusting Jesus underneath.

I still haven’t sat down to answer the question myself, so I need to schedule that in this weekend!

Oh I get this. Photos. Those and papers and books are my demise! Yes, digital photos open up a whole other can of worms. Sometimes our convenient technology is anything but. All the best w/ this!

I need to schedule some time with the questions myself to consider them in light of Release. At this point in the year, it often gets harder for me to continue to engage my word, but this is also when I start to notice more breakthroughs if I don’t give up….

Your word is definitely a challenging one, Anita. But I’m glad the two rainbows gave you a breakthrough. What a treat to see more than one in a day!

When I think about being overwhelmed with “finish” my mind immediately goes to photos. I’m so behind on sorting and printing photos I’ve taken the past 4 years that I’ve become frozen and stopped making any progress at all. I would not want to go back to the days of print photography, but in some ways, those days were much easier to stay on top of.

True; we only get one literal dawn per day. 🙂 But I almost always miss it, even if I’m awake. I definitely could improve on appreciating the one I get. I’m glad you’re writing posts about your last year’s word too! I’ve found–and I’m sure you have too–that God continues to work through our words for years to come. Sometimes we get a bigger revelation about our word long after our year is over.
