Thanks for these encouraging words, June. Sometimes I get in a funk over aging, but I know that what you and Floyd are saying is right on target. I’m grateful to have a husband who says those same things.

I have a hair appointment tomorrow afternoon so I may need to come back and re-read your words to not obsess over my reflection in the mirror. 🙂

Life goes on and my life goes better the less I think about self. I’ve learned that beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. The more we love someone the more beautiful they are to us. And I agree with Floyd, a person’s actions show their true beauty. Good luck with the new hairstyle, Lisa! (if you want my opinion, I think the one you’ve got is pretty fab!)

Here’s what I’ve noticed as I get older. I find true beauty in folks that show love with their actions. As we get older the senses don’t fool us like they did when we were younger.

Seeing with the eyes of our Father is truly seeing!

They were control, criticism, judgment, and complaining.
