Loved your video Lisa & those Tulips are beautiful. Goodness you've had a very busy month. Some of those book titles look really intriguing.
And I totally agree with the Colonoscopy experience, yukky but a necessary life saving procedure!
Blessings, Jennifer

I continually struggle with phone management issues, so you have my sympathy. And I appreciated your positive perspective on the colonoscopy. They are no fun but they are better than the alternative!

A lovely post Lisa, I especially enjoyed your video. I hear your consternation about a Colonoscopy! I'm due for another one this year too! While the prep is rather undesirable, I agree the procedure is absolutely life saving! I'm glad yours was caught early.

Some of the titles of your books are intriguing. May you & your family having a wonderful time this weekend remembering the amazing gift we have in Jesus.
Blessings, Jennifer

Lisa, I'm so sorry I had never commented, b/c I had never read that particular blog!! I had no idea you had colon cancer! My goodness! I surely would have been empathetic. I'm so sorry. BUT I'm so grateful yours was caught early and eradicated. There is much cancer in our family, including Daddy's colon cancer, Mother's breast cancer x 3, and now her pancreatic cancer. So early, preventive tests, and also surgeries and other treatments to remove it, are really a modern miracle. I'm so glad yours was removed entirely. And yes, you go through some discomfort every three years, but I know this three-year shift from upright to on your side on a table in the OR, is worth your peace of mind. thank you for sharing the intimacies and intricacies of your life so willingly. Your openness here may just have saved a life!

Oh, yes, Lisa, March is definitely the month of "shifts" as spring pushes in and winter holds her ground. I love how you incorporated your word for the year in such a tangible way. I've enjoyed watching how the "light" moves around to different places as the month unfurled. It keeps me aware in the moment and of the moment in new and meaningful ways. Blessings!

Lisa, this was such a good post. Good for you for learning a new word because of the concentration on SHIFT. I would be interested in hearing your thoughts about the book dealing with politics without contempt.

Also, I wanted to let you know that I tried sitting on my hands last week at church. I almost made it through but I have to confess that in the end, I had about five phrases I wrote down. But in the end, they all amounted to the one phrase that has stuck with me all week which was, STAND FIRM.
