It is hard to ask for help. Especially when I know I can do it, and even know how to do it. If I don’t know how to do something, that is easier. But not much.

I have fond memories of riding my bike too, with my best friend when in elementary grades. And took a terrible tumble and still have the scar to show for it! Sometimes I do have a hard time asking for help, and can be fiercely independent. But that then is really not allowing others to share their gifts, isn’t it? Continuing to be a work in progress!

What a great story! Courage is acting in spite of your fear and I love that you stepped forward and did it.
