It helps when I know some of the players too, and with soccer, I know no one. Or at least I didn't. Now I know Tim Howard anyway after watching this week. :)

I kinda hope I keep the love/hate relationship with Pinterest a little while instead of all-love because I don't need another thing to suck away more time online. ha. But I am enjoying it more since I honed in on my own interests. I would have loved it several years ago for homeschooling too! But I probably would have schooled less because of it. ;-)

I haven't watched any of the World Cup. Soccer is a bit easier for me to understand than football, but I just don't care to watch sports unless someone I know is playing.

I do enjoy Pinterest more since I learned how to unfollow certain boards while still following friends. I do like the ones you're not following. :) Except clothing. But I have unfollowed ideas for home schooling or animals as well as others.

I look forward to getting through Deuteronomy so I can get to Joshua. :) It's easier for me to relate to the narrative sections of the Bible. Hope you enjoy the visit with your daughter! My youngest daughter and her roommate are on the way to our house right now; I'm excited.

I didn't realize that I would love Twitter more than Facebook. ha. It's so much quicker to scroll through.

Yes, that cross was gorgeous. I wish I had taken before and after pictures of it. The whole wedding was so beautiful. Hope you have a great 4th, Jerralea!

Wow--you have a lot going on, Betty. But good stuff.

I keep hearing about Bob Sorge's book and it makes me want to read it too. Excited that you'll get to share your God stories with a crowd in October! I know God will help you prepare and deliver when the time comes.

10,000 tweets! Wow, that is awesome. I've got like barely 500 ... I don't think to tweet most times.

Thanks for sharing Open Up the Heavens. I liked it very much.

What a gorgeous wedding photo! I love the background of the cross. You and your sisters look very nice in the photo - as well as the bride looks glowing!

July is full of connecting with missionaries home from several countries living in the of California. Full of swimming with our grandchildren. Got a few new books on my list and taking a really slow read into Bob Sorge, The Fire of Delayed Answers, so much good in every chapter. Working on my speaking engagement for Oct, I have three session, a first for me, makes me nervous but exciting at the same time. Hard to cram 67 years into a few hours but God keep reminded me of the important stuff. I don't think I am near as busy as you are Lisa...enjoy hot July.

Hmm...you're right. Maybe I need to rethink that prayer! ha. Not sure I'm ready yet; then again, I never am. It's all grace or nothing.

Yes, I'm finally discovering that getting rid of all the boards I don't like is the key. :) I've also learned it's quicker for me to unfollow all of someone's boards first, then go back and add back the ones I like. (But I wouldn't want them to know that. ha) Still so excited about your big news!!!
