I know what you mean about the one word. Last year I thought I had my word fairly early, but right at the end of December, God flooded me with so many things about “compassion” that he forced me to switch. 😉 Do let me know when you decide. I love hearing what people choose!

Android, iPhone–they’re basically the same in my book. I still have a holdout in my family though who uses a BlackBerry and it’s not nearly as useful (as he’s able to use it anyway). 🙂

I don’t have a tablet yet; I can’t justify a good use for it. But maybe one day I’ll think of a good excuse. ha. I still use a PC for my laptop, but my daughter bought a Mac and seems to really prefer it. I might consider switching over whenever my PC dies.

You’ve got me thinking…maybe I’ll write a post about choosing a One Word….

Rest is a great thing to look forward to, June. 🙂 I look forward to it every evening myself. And once I get my Christmas gifts wrapped, I’ll immediately feel more rested.

I enjoyed Gravity too. I’m glad to hear your hesitation on Interstellar because that will curb my enthusiasm a tad. All I’ve heard is how wonderful it is (and maybe I’ll find it to be that!), but it’s probably best not to go into it with too high expectations. ha.

Yes, Jennifer, the test flight appeared to be almost flawless! I’m sure they’ll find a few anomalies once they get all the data back, but from the outside looking it, it was a big success.

One of the things I enjoyed the most about the Advent Retreat was simply the time we each had in silence to meditate on thoughts from the previous session. Sometimes I rush from knowledge to knowledge without making time to sit with it and let it sink in.

I listened a lot more about the launch than I discussed too. My talking consists mainly of asking questions. 🙂

I think I’ll register tomorrow for the retreat. Can’t find a good reason not to. ha.

After doing the Examine app for several nights now, I’ve found it’s quite much! I’m already not being consistent with it. 🙁 So I think I’ll just type in 2 or 3 answers per night instead of trying to do them all every night. A “little” done consistently is better than “all” done rarely, right? (I have to play these games with myself. ha.)
