In reply to bluecottonmemory. Yes, in Christ is the most freeing place to live! Quite the opposite of enslavement, which is how we live when we try to only live for ourselves. So thankful for his grace to deliver us from ourselves.

To hie for refuge – how I like that visual of trust – and then to be wide open, free – for salvation – interesting that too many in western civilization today see God’s salvation is limiting, a type of enslavement – I think it is over though him that we can be wide open – free! I’m going to hold these verses close to my heart over the next few weeks! Blessings to you, Lisa!

I am “learning God.” How profound and beautiful! I have been away since 10/1 so am just beginning here for this month of October. But will go back and start anew. I love the wallpapers and think that using them will be a wonderful way to see God’s Word at each sign in at this computer!

Yes, I’m with you on the chapter numbers only when it’s long. I figure I can always find the verse if needed if I can remember the chapter.

Yes, sometimes these older brains may work a little slower, but that's just because we've got so much already packed in, right? :) But there's always room for more.
