The Glass Castle was really interesting–also sad that the author had to grew up with such chaos. I’m always amazed when people survive and end up flourishing after coming from such turbulent childhoods.

It’s too bad that so many books sound good. ha. There’s just not enough time to get to them all. I have to remember to slow down and enjoy the book I’m on because I’m often eager to get to the newest, shiniest one. 🙂

A Moment for Me would fit right in with a busy life, Sue! Each chapter is very brief but significant enough to be worth the few minutes it takes to read it (and more worthy if you take the time to do the practices, which I confess I didn’t always do).

For sure, Donna–there is never enough time for all our books! There are so many books that I’m so eager to start right now, but I have to limit myself on how many I can have going at any given time. ha.

I’ve been surprised at how many people read The Glass Castle and have seen the film! Where have I been? 🙂 Glad to hear you thought it was a good adaption. I may see if I can find the movie somewhere to stream.
