I finished The Frozen River last week and I loved it, too, Jennifer! So well written and the storyline kept me hooked from beginning to end. I especially like that the midwife was based on a real person, too. That always makes a novel more special to me.

I only first heard of her a few weeks ago, but already I’ve fallen deeply for her poetry (which is odd for me because I’m not really a poetry person). Luckily I just watched the movie adaptation of the Woman in Cabin 10 recently so I remember the basic story line (though I did remember liking the book much better than the movie!).
