I actually relate to that part too. When I’m by myself, I can be much more spiritual. 🙂 But add people to the mix, and the irritability factor can go up. God’s still working with me on that.

Her statement about it would be easy to be a good Christian just being with animals makes me think of what one of my Pastor / bosses used to say, “I love my job and could be a great Pastor if it weren’t for the people.” So, Michelle is not alone!

It’s been a particularly good few months getting to read books from my blogging friends. Y’all are awesome, and I feel very blessed to get to read your longer works as well as your blogs!

It’s been a joy to get to recommend your book, Michelle, and to have followed your story for several years now. You have a way of always making me relate to things you share; I appreciate the way you make me think (and rethink!).

I so appreciate Michelle’s honesty too. She can make me laugh one minute and cry the next with her authenticity. I love that in a writer and in a person. I’m praying too that God uses her and her words in a mighty way.

Now you’ve got this song going in my head “Oh, Love That Wilt Not Let Me Go”. 🙂 It’s been awhile since I’ve even heard it. But ever so thankful that such a Love exists!

Michelle lays it out plainly what it’s like for her–both when she didn’t really believe and now that she does. She doesn’t give a prettied-up version.

It’s a good day when I only skim the bibliographies. Trying to break the habit too. 🙂
