Lisa… you probably figured out that I failed the last one! I had good intentions, but alas came up dum- I mean short…
You didn’t fail, Floyd. No grading allowed. Thankfully. 🙂
Ok, I’m seriously considering this. I’ve done really badly on my Scripture memory this year. Last year I started learning John 1 and got about 40 verses in and then somehow I dropped it. Maybe this will be a good way for me to get back into it again.
If you learned 40 verses in John 1, I’d say you’re doing quite well. I stopped at verse 18, but what a blessing those 18 have been. Part of the beauty of *trying* to memorize for me is that at least it gets me into the same verses over and over. God works through that repetition in showing me different things, even if the exact memorization of the words still fails. It’s about the Word, not the words anyway, right? John 1:1. 🙂
Hi Lisa,
I am so thankful to join this challenge this season. I am looking forward to do it with you and others! That notes gives me inspiration how I can memorize verses. Thanks for sharing it 🙂
I’m glad you’re part of our group, Helen! I’m looking forward to memorizing Ephesians 1 also. I pray the Lord will bless all who participate.
