Both writing books were motivation! My favorite of the two is "Everybody Writes" but "1000 Words" is helpful as well.

In reply to <a href="https://lisanotes.com/8-books-that-shifted-my-perspective-this-month-nonfiction-fiction-picks/#comment-336887">Farrah</a>.

I understand what you're saying about AI - there are times I don't want to use it just on general principle. I don't want to grow dependent on it for things I used to use my brain for. So I have conflicted feelings about it. I'm trying to learn more about it while it's relatively new (to me anyway) so I can make more informed decisions. Co-Intelligence really was a good book to help with that. Thanks for hosting the book linkup, Farrah!

I feel like I've maybe placed too many boundaries against using AI (I definitely think it has a time and a place but feel it's being way overused right now. :( Co-Intelligence would be a good read for me!)

1000 Words sounds like a fun challenge! I used to write so regularly + would love to get back into that!

Thank you for linking up with me at My Month Is Booked! :]

I get it, Sarah. My husband is a fiction-only reader too; well, unless it's a good memoir that reads like a novel :). I'm definitely a fiction reader when I need an escape too. I keep a novel going at all times for that reason. We all benefit from occasional mini-get-aways from the real world.
