Though it’s different it’s kind of the same – just us at home eating or doing whatever and at some point sitting at the table and giving thanks. Since moving to a state where there is no family, this has been our norm for holidays. A little hard at first but now we’re used to it.
I honestly don’t want to social distance in someone’s yard, so home is where I’ll be.

Our family Thanksgiving may become a Zoom meeting! But I’d rather make do than do without as the old saying goes. Hopefully we’ll all be vaccinated in the next few months, and then we can celebrate all we’ve missed!

Thanksgiving is not a holiday here. I have often done a meal but with our current lockdown we can’t even have friends in the garden. We might make a pie and be thankful for that.
